Job Title:
Civil Engineer (Entry‑Level / Early Career) Water Resources & Sustainable Infrastructure Evansville, IN We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join a collaborative and supportive project team focused on water resources and sustainable water/wastewater infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a early‑career engineer (0-3 years) who is eager to learn, grow technically, and make a meaningful impact on communities and industries. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers in a team‑based environment that values mentorship, flexibility, and long‑term professional development. What You'll Be Doing Perform engineering assignments using standard techniques, procedures, and design criteria Work under the guidance of a Project Manager or Professional Engineer Support a variety of engineering tasks including: Field work and site inspections Engineering reports and technical documentation Permitting and agency coordination Construction engineering support Simple design calculations and plan development Review construction drawings and specifications Coordinate with contractors during project execution Communicate with local, state, and federal agencies regarding permits and approvals Projects and Technical Exposure Water and wastewater infrastructure Stormwater and drainage systems Civil site design and grading Sustainable infrastructure solutions for municipalities and industry What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental / Ecological Engineering 0-3 years of civil engineering experience, ideally in: Water/Wastewater Stormwater / Drainage Transportation Civil site development Working knowledge of Civil 3D / AutoCAD Civil 3D Understanding of drainage, grading, and basic civil design concepts Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a team environment Preferred (But Not Required) Master's degree
FE / EIT

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.58 - $36.54/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
