Job Description
We're looking for a Project Engineering Intern to join our collaborative Program Support Team within our Advanced Facilities - Life Sciences Business Unit in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will be excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business-- including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities. You'll be working closely with our Project Management Team who is accountable for the coordination of projects including guidance of all technical design, scheduling and budgetary performance, design quality, and safety. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will develop and deliver small- and large-scale capital projects and surround you by expert mentorship opportunities to help you thrive in your new career. During your internship you will support project engineering and project management in planning, executing, and closing out projects for our Life Sciences clients. You will be exposed to cutting-edge facilities, innovative research environments, and state-of-the-art manufacturing and project management processes. To be successful in this role you will be asked to leverage your organizational and time management skills as you collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution. Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Construction Management or another business management related field Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future Ideally, you'll also have: 3.0+ GPA Previous relevant internship experience in Project Management, Construction Management or another closely related field Skills with Excel, Databases (MS Access), Power BI and dashboard development Experience in project budgeting and planning Primavera P6, MS Project, or other scheduling software experience Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
