Role:
As a CBRE Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for providing critical preventive maintenance and corrective repair services for a diverse portfolio of buildings and equipment across multiple medical office campuses and clinics in Dodge City and Garden City, Kansas. This role requires a hands-on professional capable of ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of facility infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life safety systems. The Mobile Engineer will operate a company-issued vehicle, manage a maintenance schedule, and interact directly with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
Manage and execute preventive maintenance programs for a portfolio of two primary campuses and one satellite facility, ensuring all building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life. Perform prompt and effective corrective repairs on mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems to maintain facilities and building systems to applicable standards. Diagnose and resolve HVAC issues, including troubleshooting hot and cold complaints, and performing maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, belts, condensers, and blower motors on rooftop units, air handlers, and other HVAC systems. Conduct general electrical maintenance, including minor repairs and system checks. Execute general facility maintenance tasks, including carpentry, ceiling tile replacement, patching, and painting. Address plumbing issues such as pipe leak repairs, drain unclogging, and faucet and toilet repairs. Review and prioritize assigned work orders, accurately estimating time and material requirements, and maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies and tools. Conduct regular inspections of building and industrial systems (e.g., fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to ensure optimal operation and compliance with environmental conditions prescribed by the client. Ensure strict compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and CBRE directives related to building operations and workplace safety. Maintain effective communication and a professional demeanor while interacting directly with clients. Operate and maintain company-issued vehicles responsibly for daily work responsibilities. Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with

values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams. Work within broad guidelines and policies. Explain difficult or sensitive information.
What You'll Need:
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. Proven experience in facilities maintenance, specifically with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems. Strong understanding of HVAC heating and cooling systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and manage a diverse workload across multiple locations. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
