Experienced Civil Engineer:

• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior staff Work with a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians in the design of municipal water distribution and sewer collection system pipeline design as well as the contractors and construction staff on design/build projects Review vendor and contractor shop drawings. Prepare and present technical reports Manage engineering design and document production Lead and manage multiple projects of small, medium, and large scale Provide QAQC of projects Meets with and presents to peers and clients

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Civil or related Engineering Technology Degree from an ABET-accredited program Certification as an Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) a plus Candidate must have technical skill sets in any of the following areas: civil site development, site grading, utilities, hydrology, and hydraulics Experience with green infrastructure projects a plus Candidate must have experience in the preparation of contract documents and the production of plans and specifications Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Outstanding organizational skills Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Must be proficient in Civil 3D software Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, Civil 3D, InfoWorks, XP-SWMM and/or HEC-RAS a plus Must have the ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government, and public contracts on project-related matters Professional engineer license or the desire to obtain

Preferred Qualifications:

Experienced in creating and developing department procedures that streamlines production Ability to perform quality reviews of detailed engineering documents and specifications Passed FE Exam required Apply
