Senior Structural Engineer

The RoleAs a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead and execute structural design for a wide range of industrial and commercial building projects from early concept through construction completion.

You will work directly with owners, contractors, architects, and internal engineers in a collaborative design build setting. This role suits an engineer who enjoys solving practical problems and seeing designs successfully built, not just issued.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for industrial, distribution, manufacturing, and commercial buildings
• Design and analyze steel framing, foundations, tilt up concrete, and gravity and lateral systems
• Perform and oversee structural calculations in accordance with current building codes
• Coordinate closely with contractors in fast‑paced design build projects
• Participate in Revit based modeling and multidisciplinary coordination
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs
• Provide construction phase support including site visits and field coordination
• Support and mentor junior engineers as neededRequired Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 8 or more years of structural engineering experience
• Strong background in industrial or commercial building design
• Solid understanding of steel and concrete systems and foundation design
• Experience working in design build or contractor‑led delivery environments
• Clear communication skills with both technical teams and non‑technical stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Structural Engineer (SE) license
• Experience with tilt up concrete construction
• Proficiency in Revit based workflows
