Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Piping Engineer to support the design and analysis of industrial facility projects. This role will focus on mechanical piping systems, pipe stress analysis, facility layouts, equipment specifications, and construction support for complex industrial and energy related facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience leading mechanical piping design efforts, performing stress analysis for piping connected to large rotating equipment, and coordinating closely with designers, project engineers, vendors, and construction teams. This position requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to support multiple projects in a collaborative engineering environment. Responsibilities Lead the design of mechanical piping systems for industrial facility projects Perform pipe stress analysis calculations for piping systems connected to large rotating equipment Develop mechanical design packages for compressor stations, production facilities, and related industrial systems Support mechanical piping layouts, equipment arrangements, and facility design activities Prepare equipment specifications and support purchasing activities for mechanical equipment Coordinate closely with mechanical designers to ensure drawings, models, and design packages meet project requirements Review drawings, layouts, calculations, and specifications for technical accuracy and completeness Provide construction support, including responding to field questions, reviewing installation issues, and supporting project execution Participate in project design reviews and contribute to technical decisions throughout the project lifecycle Work across multiple projects while maintaining schedule, quality, and engineering standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline required Extensive experience in pipe stress analysis required Strong experience with mechanical piping design and industrial facility layout Experience supporting industrial, petrochemical, oil and gas, compressor station, or production facility projects preferred Ability to lead design tasks and coordinate with other engineers and designers Professional Engineer license preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary project team

GRPA Pay:
$75.00 - $85.00 per hour
