Structural Engineer

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. Duties Seeking experienced Senior Structural Engineer. Engineer needs a BS or MS in civil/structural engineering with experience in concrete and steel structural design including foundation design. Candidates must also have experience coordinating work with geotechnical firms, reading and understanding those reports and translating the requirements to design. Must have experience in leading design teams, directing design and drafting, mentoring young engineers, writing specifications, creating bid packages, communicating with clients and responding to construction inquiries. Experience in RISA or other similar software is a requirement. Should have experience in wind, seismic design and familiarity with all applicable design codes. Proficiency with applicable industry standards and Civil and Structural engineering design criteria Skilled in developing or overseeing the development of Civil and Structural deliverables such as 3D models, steel and concrete drawings, connection details, calculations, Bills of Material (BOMs), and Engineering Work Packages (EWPs) Experience developing and contributing to development of scoping documents, P6 schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and estimates Proficient in structural analysis software including ability to interpret results and develop design recommendations Broad knowledge of the principles and practices of engineering Ability to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions Skilled in effective communication, both verbal and written, including the ability to actively listen and to adapt behavior and communication style based upon the audience BS Degree and
