Job Summary:
LEI Engineering & Surveying of Oregon, LLC (LEI Oregon) is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer-In-Training for our Salem, Oregon office. This position is open to both entry-level and experienced candidates who are motivated, detail-oriented, and interested in working on a variety of civil engineering and land development projects. LEI Oregon is a leading engineering and land surveying firm serving Oregon and the Pacific Northwest for more than 40 years. Ideal Candidate Qualifications ' Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering ' Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification in Oregon ' 0-4 Years Experience in civil engineering design preferred, including site development, roadway, and utility design ' Proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D preferred ' Understanding of grading, drainage, and stormwater design principles ' Ability to work both independently and as part of a team ' Strong organizational skills and attention to detail ' Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines ' Good written and verbal communication skills Job Description Work closely with Project Managers and other team members to support the planning and design of civil engineering projects.
Responsibilities may include:
' Preparation of civil engineering design plans for site development, roadways, and utilities ' Grading and drainage design, including stormwater management and erosion control ' Preparation of calculations, technical reports, and supporting documentation ' Coordination with survey staff for existing conditions and project layout ' Assisting with permitting and agency coordination at the local and state level ' Responding to review comments and revising plans as needed ' Supporting construction administration, including responding to contractor questions and reviewing submittals
