About the Role
Masters Academy International is seeking a skilled and dependable Building Engineer to ensure the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of our campus facilities. This pivotal role is responsible for maintaining critical building systems—including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing—while proactively addressing maintenance needs to support a high-quality learning environment. As New England's only school that intentionally integrates professional-level coaching with top-tier academics, we look for candidates who combine technical expertise with a service-oriented mindset and a commitment to excellence. The ideal professional will not only manage routine inspections and repairs but also uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance to ensure a secure and functional campus for our student-athletes and staff.
What You Will Do
As a Building Engineer at Masters Academy International, you will be the primary guardian of our campus infrastructure, ensuring the safe and uninterrupted operation of all facility systems. You will be a proactive problem-solver, diagnosing malfunctions and executing a wide range of repairs—from minor carpentry and painting to complex technical troubleshooting. Beyond technical upkeep, you will play a vital role in campus safety by conducting regular hazard inspections, supporting emergency preparedness protocols, and ensuring strict compliance with OSHA standards. Your work will directly impact the excellence of the environment where our student-athletes train and learn.

Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in a related
field preferred.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in building engineering, facilities maintenance, or a similar role.
Expertise:
Demonstrated ability in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, as well as the
ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics; Familiarity with building automation systems.
(BAS) is preferred.

Knowledge:
Local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA standards and school safety
policies; ability to conduct regular safety inspections and address hazards proactively.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range is $55,000. Benefits for eligible roles include medical, life insurance, a 401(k) savings plan, and more.
