This position is ideal for a professional engineer with 5-10 years of structural design experience who is looking to take on increased project responsibility, work directly with clients and architects, and contribute to a collaborative engineering environment. The successful candidate will participate in the design and coordination of a wide range of structural projects, including commercial, institutional, industrial, and renovation work. This role offers opportunities for technical growth, project leadership, and long-term career advancement. Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, timber, and foundation systems Prepare construction documents, calculations, specifications, and technical reports Coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams Conduct field investigations, site visits, and structural assessments Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction Manage project schedules and maintain high-quality deliverables Mentor junior engineering staff and support internal quality control efforts Participate in client meetings and contribute to project development activities Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) 5-10 years of structural engineering experience Proficiency in structural analysis and design software Working knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
