Job Description

Build Real Projects. Grow Faster. Be Heard. At Carroll Engineering , you won't be buried in a silo or stuck doing repetitive calculations. You'll work on diverse structural building projects, collaborate directly with decision-makers, and see your designs move from concept to construction. We're growing and looking for a licensed Structural Engineer (PE) who wants more ownership, more variety, and a team that actually collaborates. What You'll Do Design and analyze commercial structures (steel, concrete, masonry, wood) Build and run models using RISA (RISA-3D, RISAFoundation or similar) Develop and coordinate construction documents in Autodesk Revit Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients Construction Administration duties Participate in site visits and field observations Ensure compliance with codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.) Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge What You Bring Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering Active PE license (MD preferred, or ability to obtain) ~5-10+ years of structural design experience (commercial focus) Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and/or wood systems Working knowledge of RISA (or similar analysis tools) Proficiency in Autodesk Revit Strong problem-solving and communication skills Why Join Carroll Engineering?
