Maryland , Gaithersburg Job Description Project Engineer - Heavy Civil Construction We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join a well-established heavy civil contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience and grow long-term within a reputable organization.

Responsibilities:

Assist Project Managers with daily project operations Support scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams Review plans, specifications, and project documents Track project progress and maintain accurate records Help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in the construction industry (commercial or civil preferred) Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field highly preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with construction software is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
