Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders. The Construction Project Engineer will utilize construction management software (procore) and industry-standard tools to facilitate project planning, scheduling, and execution. Duties Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Procore construction management software. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to facilitate accurate project execution. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions proactively. Manage contract documentation, change orders, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure safety standards and quality control are maintained. Maintain comprehensive project records including schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and daily reports. Requirements Some experience in construction management or engineering with a solid understanding of construction site operations. Minimum 1 year of construction expereince Knowledge of project scheduling, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract administration. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills for coordinating teams and stakeholders across various levels of the organization. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment on complex projects.
