Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Rockville, MD. As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will assist in the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects, contributing to the development of sustainable infrastructure.
Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3DConduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and assess project requirementsPerform engineering calculations and analyze data to support project designsCollaborate with senior engineers and project managers on various aspects of civil, structural or related engineering projectsAssist in the preparation of project reports, cost estimates, and technical documentationParticipate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clientsSupport the development and implementation of quality control proceduresStay updated on local building codes, regulations, and industry best practicesContribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution0-4 years of experience in civil engineering projectsEngineer in Training (EIT) certification preferredProficiency in AutoCAD requiredProficiency in Civil 3D and GIS software, along with experience in Revit, is preferredExperience with ENERCALC and STAAD - Pro is an advantageStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent mathematical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Basic understanding of local building codes and regulationsFamiliarity with construction materials, methods, and environmental regulations

Additional InformationProposed Salary:
