Job Description

Schedule Engineer - Infrastructure Cianbro United States, Maine, Kittery Apr 07, 2026 The Schedule Engineer works with the project team to provide support for construction operations and schedule deliverables. Job Responsibilities
Assist in project scheduling, working with the project schedule to support detailed short and long-term schedules.
Prepare deliverables to communicate schedule to the client and stakeholders.
Track onsite construction activity progress to maintain the project schedule to aid project leadership.
Assist in proper project planning, developing work packages and preparing production indicators/benchmarks, and developing activity schedules.
Verify quantity tracking data and measure productivity compared to baseline assumptions.
Interpret production goals from work packages to ensure daily communication of productivity goals is understood by crews executing the work.
Track progress of the major Vendors and Subcontractors to ensure that materials are manufactured and delivered in a timely fashion as not to impact the project schedule.
Coordinate the transmittal and subsequent approval of all submittals to the Owner/Engineer.
Perform other duties as assigned/required. Qualifications/Requirements
Requires a four-year degree in engineering or construction management degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience in heavy infrastructure construction.
Interest in all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods): craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations, engineering, estimating, schedules, and safety preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
Computer skills including Primavera, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must be willing to travel.
