Job Description

About the
Role:
O'Brien Construction is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful execution of construction projects, from pre-construction to final completion. You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimators to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and plans. Manage document control, including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes. Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely material deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise. Assist with estimating extra work, preparing correspondence, and expediting project tasks. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards. Proactively identify and resolve project challenges. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. Participate in the Job Rotation Program to gain valuable experience in various construction disciplines (Assistant Superintendent, Assistant Estimator, Assistant Project Manager).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Strong commitment to safety. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction-related software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow within the construction industry.
