Full-Time About Us Diamond Custom Painting is a commercial painting contractor serving educational, office, retail, industrial, and multi‑family projects across Southeast Michigan. We manage fast‑paced, detail‑driven projects and pride ourselves on delivering high‑quality work, clear communication, and reliable service to our clients. We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support our project management and field teams with administrative, operational, and documentation tasks that keep our projects running smoothly. Position Overview The Project Coordinator will handle invoicing, submittals, bid follow‑up, plan highlighting, and general project support. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a construction environment. You will work closely with the owner, project managers, estimators, and field crews. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit invoices, track payments, and maintain accurate billing records Manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation Follow up on bids, track proposal statuses, and assist with estimating tasks Review and highlight plans/drawings to identify scope for field crews Organize project files, schedules, and job-specific paperwork Assist with material orders, vendor coordination, and jobsite logistics Support project managers with daily administrative needs Maintain communication with clients, GCs, and subcontractors as needed Ensure all documentation is accurate, timely, and aligned with project requirements Qualifications Experience in construction administration, project coordination, or a similar role preferred Strong organizational and time‑management skills Ability to read and understand construction drawings (or willingness to learn) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with Procore or similar construction software is a plus Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for long‑term growth within the company Supportive team environment Exposure to a wide range of commercial construction projects How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief introduction to diamond-construct@outlook.com .
