This is a hands-on support role working directly with Project Managers to help drive execution, coordination, and documentation across active job sites. It's designed for someone with commercial electrical experience who wants to grow into full project ownership over time. You'll play a key role in keeping projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with field operations. Responsibilities Support Project Managers across the full project lifecycle, from preconstruction through closeout Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Coordinate with field teams, electricians, and foremen to align plans with execution Interface with general contractors, inspectors, and vendors to support project progress Review and interpret electrical drawings and specifications for coordination and scope Assist with takeoffs, scope reviews, and project setup alongside estimating teams Work with BIM teams to resolve design conflicts and support field-ready plans Track project schedules, materials, and procurement to support timely delivery Maintain accurate records within project management and ERP systems Requirements 2-5+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction (Project Engineer, APM, or similar) Background with a commercial electrical contractor or electrical scopes required Experience supporting project coordination (RFIs, submittals, schedules, field communication) Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documents Familiarity with Bluebeam, AcuBid, or similar tools preferred Strong interest in growing into a Project Manager role Hands-on involvement in project execution and coordination required Must have commercial electrical experience (residential-only or GC-only backgrounds will not be considered) Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance Retirement plan options Paid time off Additional company-sponsored benefits
