Job Description
Company Overview CK America Inc. is a leading engineering and construction company specializing in HVAC, Clean Room, Dry Room, and industrial facility solutions. We are committed to delivering high-quality engineering and construction services throughout the United States. As our Lansing project continues to grow, we are seeking motivated individuals to join our field construction team. No prior construction experience is required. Training will be provided. Position Summary The Field Engineer will support daily construction activities at the project site, assist supervisors with field coordination, monitor work progress, and help ensure quality and safety standards are maintained. This position is ideal for recent graduates, technical school graduates, and individuals seeking to start a career in industrial construction. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily field supervision and coordination of subcontractors. Monitor construction progress and report field activities. Perform basic site inspections to verify work quality and compliance with project drawings. Maintain daily reports, progress photos, and field documentation. Assist with material receiving and inventory verification. Support project managers and field supervisors with administrative and technical tasks. Participate in daily safety meetings and follow all jobsite safety requirements. Qualifications Required Qualifications Associate degree, technical school diploma, or equivalent experience preferred. High school graduates with strong motivation and willingness to learn may also be considered. No prior experience required. Ability to work outdoors and walk active construction sites. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Construction-related education or internship experience. OSHA 10-Hour Certification. Ability to read basic construction drawings. Korean and English bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
