Job Description
Structural Analysis Engineer needed to perform FEA, structural analysis, bolted joint calculations, simulation workflow development, and design optimization support. Job Requirements 5-10 years of relevant structural analysis and FEA experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Hands-on experience with
ANSA/META
software suite Experience with FEA model generation and manipulation Experience with analysis solvers such as Nastran, OptiStruct, or LS-DYNA Familiarity with static analysis methods Familiarity with modal, direct transient, and frequency response analysis methods Familiarity with bolted joint design and calculations Experience with non-traditional structural analysis tools such as SimSolid, SimLab, or similar tools Experience performing system-level and subsystem-level finite element analysis Experience conducting linear and non-linear stress analysis Preferred Skills Working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter Experience with CAD tools such as Siemens NX, PTC Creo, or VisMockup Experience with nCode or GlyphWorks for fatigue and durability assessments Experience with vehicle-level NVH assessments in FEA Familiarity with FEA design optimization tools and workflows Experience applying machine learning or statistical methods to simulation data Python programming or scripting skills Experience validating new analysis tools and workflows Experience documenting best practices for engineering teams Job Responsibilities Perform system-level and subsystem-level FEA to support vehicle and component-level designs Conduct linear and non-linear stress analysis for static, dynamic, shock, and vibration environments Perform bolted joint analysis using classical calculations for joint sizing Use classical hand calculations, traditional FEA, meshless analysis tools, and data analysis to support engineering decisions Apply non-traditional and meshless analysis methods to accelerate early design studies and trade-offs Evaluate and validate new analysis tools and workflows Document analysis best practices for broader engineering use Collaborate with design and test engineering teams to develop, analyze, and optimize components and subsystems Provide design guidance to improve structural performance, weight, cost, and manufacturability Support simulation-driven design optimization and engineering trade studiesPay Details:
