Structures Engineer

Summary:

Supports the design and development of hull and turret structures for military vehicle programs from concept through production. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 1-3 years of experience in product design or vehicle-related engineering Proficiency in CAD modeling, including NX, Creo, or similar software Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals Ability to work 100% onsite in Sterling Heights, MI Preferred Skills Experience with welded structures and fabrication processes Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis Familiarity with Teamcenter or similar PLM systems Experience supporting hardware from concept through production Job Responsibilities Design and develop structural components and welded assemblies for vehicle platforms Create and refine CAD models to meet technical, cost, and schedule requirements Collaborate with engineering and drafting teams to release production-ready designs Support manufacturing, integration, and testing of hardware on prototype and production vehicles Assist with root cause and corrective action activities to resolve design and production issues Participate in cross-functional efforts to support system-level performance and integration
