Job Description

About the FirmMy client is a well‑established structural engineering consultancy recognised for delivering accurate, thoughtfully coordinated building projects across a diverse range of construction types. They are known for their forward‑looking approach to modeling, documentation, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration, providing an environment where technical professionals can grow, contribute, and take ownership of meaningful project work.

Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction Documentation & ModelingLead the development of detailed 3D models and refined 2D drawings using advanced BIM and drafting tools.

Convert sketches, consultant information, specifications, and engineering guidance into coordinated, high‑quality construction documentation.

Produce drawing packages that adhere to project requirements, internal standards, and established workflows.

Technical CoordinationCollaborate with engineers, architects, and external consultants to ensure consistency across all design disciplines.

Identify and resolve coordination challenges early in the design process to maintain accuracy and project alignment.

Maintain modeling standards, organized file structures, and clear documentation throughout all stages of the project.

Project Ownership & Quality AssuranceManage key aspects of project delivery, including deadlines, modeling priorities, and documentation milestones.

Conduct internal quality reviews to maintain accuracy and compliance with both internal and client‑specific standards.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by refining details, enhancing workflows, and sharing technical knowledge within the team.

Requirements8+ years of hands‑on experience in structural modeling, drafting, and BIM‑focused project delivery.

Associate's degree in Architectural/Structural/Construction designProficiency with RevitStrong understanding of structural documentation standards, detailing practices, and construction sequencing.

Ability to work independently with sound judgement while collaborating effectively within multi‑disciplinary teams.

Clear communication skills and comfort working closely with engineers, designers, and external partners.
