Job Description We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to competently perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed below. These requirements represent the expected knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work in a multi-disciplinary team environment to provide engineering and consulting support for a variety of projects and clients Collaborate closely with senior-level Project Managers and Professional Engineers to gain project management and technical engineering experience Communicate complex engineering concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical clients and project teams Assist in developing scopes of services, cost estimates, and proposals for residential, commercial, transportation, and infrastructure projects Perform geotechnical fieldwork, including field reconnaissance, preparation of boring logs, soil sampling, construction observation, and materials testing Participate in geotechnical laboratory testing, engineering analysis, and development of engineering recommendations Prepare engineering reports, plans, and specifications based on analysis Attend client meetings as a company representative Support project management activities related to scope, scheduling, and budget tracking Follow all safety rules, guidelines, and standards; participate in pre-task planning and report safety concerns while maintaining quality standards on all projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) preferred Open to all experience levels, including Professional Engineers (PE) Strong problem-solving and resolution skills Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities Strong time management skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Compensation & Benefits Compensation is commensurate with experience and background.
