We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer or a Civil Engineer in Training to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of civil engineering projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and perform design, analysis, and project coordination. The role is well-suited for both licensed engineers and for those looking to advance toward professional licensure. High-performing candidates who demonstrate leadership, technical excellence, and commitment to the firm may be considered for future ownership or partnership opportunities as part of our long-term succession and growth strategy.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with or lead the planning, design, and analysis of civil engineering projects (e.g., site development, roadway, drainage, utilities, or water resources)
- Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and technical memoranda
- Develop construction drawings and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Support permitting and approval processes
- Perform field observations, site visits, and data collection as needed
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
- Support project schedules, budgets, and quality control procedures
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer license (or ability and plan to obtain)
- [3+] years of relevant civil engineering experience
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience with site development, land surveying, water/wastewater, or drainage design and land planning.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Salary/Compensation:
