Senior Civil Engineer Job Description The Senior Civil Engineer will serve as the office lead, supporting civil infrastructure projects while helping rebuild and grow the local team. This individual will play a key role in project oversight, client coordination, and mentoring junior staff. Responsibilities Lead civil engineering efforts across water, wastewater, and stormwater projects. Support project execution for clients such as MSD and SLDC. Oversee design, review plans, and ensure technical accuracy across projects. Act as a local leader for the St. Louis office and support long-term team growth. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. Collaborate with internal teams across Kansas City and St. Louis. Assist in business development efforts and project pursuits as the office grows. Essential Skills Proficiency in civil engineering software such as Civil 3D and AutoCAD. Strong experience in civil design, preferably in water, wastewater, or stormwater. Experience managing or leading projects or teams. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Work Environment The position is primarily office-based with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement in the future. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
