Job Description

Senior-level civil engineering role providing technical leadership and final design oversight for solar and battery energy storage projects. This position manages multiple concurrent projects and serves as a senior technical interface with clients, contractors, and internal project teams. Responsibilities Lead, review, and stamp civil designs including grading, drainage, stormwater, erosion control, and roadways Perform and review engineering analysis, calculations, and energy modeling Oversee and mentor engineering staff; delegate and manage engineering tasks Develop, review, and peer‑review AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings Review geotechnical investigation reports and manage subconsultants Support equipment research, procurement, inspections, and commissioning Manage client communications and technical coordinationQualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 10+ years of industry engineering experience Active Professional Engineer (PE) license Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience with grading, hydrology/drainage, stormwater, erosion control, and SWPPP Experience with gravel road design and civil site layouts Solar and battery energy storage project experience Engineering team leadership and oversight experience Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
