Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION I
am partnered with a multifaceted engineering firm that is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their growing team. My client provides a variety of unique and diverse projects. All potential candidate must be local to the Fargo, ND area and/or have direct ties to the state of North Dakota if relocation is required.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the development of construction documents, including drawings and specifications, ensuring adherence to sound structural engineering principles Coordinate work with internal and external disciplines, providing technical support, and direction as needed Support the business development through proposal input, internal collaboration and creative problem solving Create and manage project plans and schedules Carry project through completion
Requirements:
B.S. Engineering/Structural or related field PE preferred / EIT required / SE Preferred 4+ years of experience in the structural design of building projects Familiarity with RISA, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft products are a must Professional experience understanding seismic, retrofits, and blast processes desired Experience with Government, Educational, Multi-family and Medical Facilities preferred Strong communication and influencing skills This role requires clear communication and management of expectations both internally and externally.
