Job Title:
Commercial Drywall Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support our commercial drywall operations. This role is ideal for candidates with either a Construction Management degree or 1-3 years of commercial drywall experience , looking to advance their career in project management within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in coordinating all phases of commercial drywall projects from start to finish. Support project managers in submittals, RFIs, takeoffs, change orders, and schedule tracking. Help manage project documentation, budgets, and forecasting. Work closely with field teams to ensure alignment on scope, specs, drawings, and timelines. Communicate with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Assist with quality control checks and site visits as needed. Track material deliveries, production progress, and manpower requirements. Contribute to problem-solving and issue resolution in the field and office. Requirements Construction Management degree or 1-3 years of commercial drywall experience . Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software is a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to work collaboratively with both field crews and office leadership. Eagerness to learn and grow within a reputable commercial drywall team.
