Job Description

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design and analysis of complex structural systems across a diverse portfolio of projects. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality structural solutions that align with safety, sustainability, and performance standards. As a senior member of the team, you will take ownership of projects, mentor engineers, and serve as a key point of contact for clients.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead structural analysis and design for complex projects including commercial, industrial, and institutional facilitiesAct as the primary technical authority, guiding structural design decisions from initial concept through construction completionMentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical oversight and professional development supportCollaborate closely with architects, mechanical and electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure well-integrated design solutionsPrepare and review detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications using Revit and AutoCADConduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with design intent, building codes, and safety standardsPresent design concepts and technical findings to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback and managing revisionsReview and stamp structural drawings and documentation in accordance with applicable codes and licensure requirementsStay current with evolving industry codes, standards, and emerging structural engineering technologiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalentActive Professional Engineer license8+ years of experience in structural design and analysisDemonstrated experience managing structural projects from concept through construction administrationProficiency in RISA, Revit, and AutoCADStrong knowledge of building codes including
IBC, ASCE 7, ACI
318, AISC, and NDSExperience designing with multiple material systems such as steel, concrete, wood, and masonryExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities effectivelyStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently lead client-facing discussionsBenefitsMedical/Dental/VisionPTO401k match
