Job Description

Overview Environmental Resolutions, Inc. (ERI) is a leading engineering, planning, environmental, and surveying consulting firm that has been providing professional services to our clients since 1990. ERI has a career opportunity for a Structural Engineer in the engineering of water and wastewater treatment facilities, municipal infrastructure, buildings as well as dams. A familiarity with the building, steel, and concrete codes is a must. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified candidate to work in an exciting and growing work environment. Responsibilities & Duties Perform field investigations and inspections of infrastructure (must be able to climb up and down ladders and lift 40 lbs.) Report writing. Responsible for project development, management, and implementation of various tasks. Perform structural calculations by hand and via structural analysis and design software. Generate project drawings in AutoCAD. Assemble and modify specifications suitable for bidding. Prepare cost estimates. Construction Project Administration Potentially assist with civil projects. Faciliate and maintain open communication with project team members, clients, and contractors. Interface directly with clients. Qualifications B.S. in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis. 3-5 years of relevant experience for a candidate holding an E.I.T. certification, or 4-8 years of relevant experience for a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) E.I.T. certification from a U.S. State Licensing board at the time of application is mandatory; candidates without this credential will not be considered. P.E. License from a U.S. State Licensing board is a plus. Professional proficiency in written and spoken English required. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Must have a valid Driver's License. AutoCAD Experience Experience in preparing specifications and bid documents.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
