Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of Jersey is seeking a Engineering Intern - Geotechnical & Geoenvironmental for the Advanced Infrastructure Center.
Among the key duties of the position are the following: Performs and assists with bench-scale and field scale experiments looking at improving the resiliency of transportation infrastructure through a better understanding of geomaterials.
Assists researchers perform a broad range of geotechnical and geoenvironmental tests to evaluate material performance and suitability in different applications. FLSA Nonexempt
Salary Details $17.00/hourly

Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent, and/or up to 4 years of relevant office, clerical, bookkeeping, library assistant or related experience depending on the duties to be performed.
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the experience requirement. Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred Qualifications Enrolled in related Engineering program as a full-time student.
Experience in relevant internship and clerical work.
