Job Description

This firm is trusted to support some of the region's most impactful transportation and infrastructure initiatives. With a diverse portfolio spanning highways, bridges, transit, and construction services, you'll have the opportunity to work on projects that leave a lasting mark on the communities they serve.
Seller-Doer Focus:
Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver bridge projects while developing client relationships and helping win new work with NJDOT, NJTA, counties, and municipalities. Responsibilities Lead bridge design and rehabilitation projects. Prepare bridge plans, calculations, specifications, and technical reports. Manage NJDOT bridge projects from design through construction support. Serve as a primary client contact and maintain relationships with NJDOT and other transportation agencies. Support business development efforts and help secure new projects. Prepare scopes of work and fee proposals. Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams. Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. PE license required. 10+ years of bridge engineering experience. NJDOT bridge design experience required. Strong knowledge of AASHTO and NJDOT design standards. Experience with bridge design, rehabilitation, inspections, and load ratings. Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenBridge and structural analysis software.
