In this role, you will ensure that all building systems—including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC—are functioning efficiently and reliably. Your expertise will help create a safe, comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff while maintaining the integrity of the building's infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead maintenance activities, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, mechanical equipment, plumbing, and HVAC units to ensure optimal operation. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues with building systems and implement effective repairs. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control building automation systems for energy efficiency and safety. Conduct mechanical repairs as needed to maintain structural integrity and equipment functionality. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Perform electrical work using tools such as ohmmeters and ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards. Assist with residential painting projects or other cosmetic repairs to enhance building appearance. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry best practices, including welding standards and electrical codes. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building engineering within residential or commercial settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and schematics interpretation. Supervising experience leading maintenance teams or contractors is highly desirable. Familiarity with manufacturing environments or large-scale facilities management is a plus. Demonstrated ability to operate tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination. Prior experience with CMMS platforms for work order management is preferred. Knowledge of residential painting techniques adds value to cosmetic repair tasks.
