Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Engineer specializing in Tile and Stone installation to join our innovative construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating and managing tile and stone projects from inception through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery. Your expertise will drive project success by leveraging your strong construction management skills, technical knowledge, and effective communication. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects, collaborate with skilled professionals, and contribute to creating stunning architectural finishes. Duties Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of tile and stone installation projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and clients to coordinate project activities and resolve issues promptly. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other tools to develop detailed project schedules and track progress. Prepare and review construction estimates, budgets, and contracts related to tile and stone work to ensure accuracy and profitability. Manage procurement of materials, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality tile and stone products while maintaining cost control. Conduct site inspections to monitor quality standards, safety compliance, and adherence to design specifications for tile and stone installations. Facilitate effective communication across all project teams through detailed reports, meetings, and documentation using tools like Bluebeam and Primavera P6. Assist in resolving technical challenges on-site by applying your construction estimating knowledge and construction site experience. Support project management efforts by maintaining accurate records of progress, changes, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and other documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a focus on tile and stone installation or related finishes; prior construction site experience is highly valued. Strong proficiency with project management software including ProCore, Bluebeam Revu, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other construction management tools. Solid understanding of construction estimating processes, contracts administration, project scheduling, and cost control measures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Knowledge of safety standards applicable to construction sites involving heavy materials like tile and stone installations. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications related to tile patterns, layouts, waterproofing systems, etc. Valid experience working on commercial or residential projects involving complex finishes; familiarity with relevant building codes is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines. $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
