Full-time, on-site Job Overview We are currently recruiting for a Construction Project Engineer to support large-scale industrial and EPC construction projects. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site in Reno during the temporary period, with the ability to relocate full-time if the role converts into a permanent offer. The successful candidate will support construction execution across site activities, working closely with engineering, procurement, construction management, superintendents and subcontractors to keep work moving safely, accurately and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day construction coordination across site activities Track RFIs, submittals, change orders and technical documentation Review drawings, specifications and project requirements Coordinate with engineering, procurement, contractors and field teams Support schedule tracking, progress reporting and issue resolution Assist with material tracking, procurement follow-up and vendor coordination Attend site meetings and help drive action items through to completion Support quality, safety and construction documentation Identify risks, delays, design issues and field constraints early Work closely with project managers, superintendents and construction teams Requirements Experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, Construction Engineer or similar Background in industrial, EPC, manufacturing, heavy commercial or infrastructure projects Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation Strong coordination skills across engineering, procurement and field teams Comfortable working in a fast-paced site environment Strong communication skills and attention to detail Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field preferred Ideal Background Candidates may come from industrial construction, EPC projects, manufacturing facilities, infrastructure, process plants, energy, heavy commercial projects or large-scale facility environments. Position Details This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position. The role will begin on a temporary basis with the intention of converting into a permanent position if it is a strong fit on both sides. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site in Reno, Nevada and open to relocation if the role converts into a permanent offer.
