GPI is seeking a Bridge Engineer to join our Albany, NY team and support the delivery of high-quality structural solutions. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, an interest in mentoring, and the ability to collaborate while managing multiple projects. As part of our bridge group, you will work on a broad range of complex projects, including multi-span, long-span, and signature structures. Assignments include new designs, rehabilitations, preservations, and repairs involving bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and dams. Key Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and design for bridge, rehabilitation, and replacement projectsPrepare design calculations, technical reports, quantity estimates, and construction documentsDevelop contract plans, specifications, and cost estimatesConduct load ratings, structural evaluations, and feasibility studiesCoordinate with internal teams and external stakeholdersSupport field inspections, site visits, and construction-phase engineering servicesEnsure design work complies with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements Qualifications Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (Minimum, with structural emphasis preferred)EIT certification required; PE license preferred4+ years of bridge design experience (more for senior roles)Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., LARSA, STAAD, SAP2000, AASHTOWare BrR) preferredWorking knowledge of
