Job Description

job summary: Structural Engineer opportunity with a client located in Garden City, NY, to lead complex thermomechanical analyses for aerospace hardware. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of the strength of materials, thermal and structural loading, and pressure analysis. You must be comfortable in a client-facing role, presenting detailed methodologies and analytical results to both internal and external stakeholders.

The client offers a solid benefits package, including three weeks of PTO, seven personal sick days, a 401(k) with a company match, and more.

GARDEN CITY, New York job type: Permanent salary: $110,000 - 130,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Perform thermomechanical analyses and pressure load assessments on aerospace hardware using FEA software and hand calculations.

Generate accurate technical reports and engineering documentation for presentation to clients and internal leadership.

Present complex analysis methodologies and results directly to external customers, acting as a primary technical contact.

Collaborate with design teams to iterate on products and peer-review structural analyses produced by the engineering team.

Support the disposition of technical issues during manufacturing and participate in customer reviews and future product proposals.
