Responsibilities for
Mid-level Mechanical Engineer:
The successful candidate shall be able to work independently with minimal supervision from a Sr. Mechanical engineer for tasks as follows:

Plan, conceptualize, and create HVAC mechanical designs for new and retrofit buildings/projects in the mission critical environmentDuct design/piping design experienceCentral plant cooling designPerform typical HVAC engineering calculations to support design workCreate technical drawings, plans, and specifications (using computer software) for review by Sr. EngineerCollaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractorsEnsure project timelines are met and project stays within budgetAble to travel to project sitesQualificationsQualifications for Mechanical EngineerBachelor's degree in mechanical engineeringEIT/PE a plus5 + years of experience working for a design engineering firm, Mission Critical design experience a plusFirm grasp of engineering concepts including theoretical and practical applications for HVAC SystemsProficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office programsAbility to communicate effectively and clearlyMust be self-motivated and know project design steps/requirementsAdditional InformationRamboll is a sustainable engineering, architecture, and consultancy company founded in Denmark in 1945.
