Job Description
About the Role Kickstart your Engineering career with Cedarwood Engineering, a small, privately-owned firm where you'll make an impact from day one. We focus on municipality work specializing in water, wastewater, stormwater, site/civil, building/architecture, residential subdivisions and campground designs. You'll gain hands-on field and design experience, work directly with licensed engineers, and see projects through from start to finish — not buried in red tape. What You'll Do Support design and permitting for water, wastewater, stormwater, and site/civil projects Assist with AutoCAD/Civil 3D drafting, surveying, and field investigations Contribute to construction oversight, cost estimates, and environmental reviews Collaborate with senior engineers on projects that directly benefit local communities What We're Looking For Bachelor's in Civil or Environmental Engineering 0-5 years of relevant experience EIT certification or FE exam registration preferred Strong communication, teamwork, technical writing and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Clean and Valid driver's license Compensation & Benefits $55,000-$80,000 starting salary (commensurate with experience) Medical & dental insurance, HSA, 401(k) with company match Paid holidays Three (3) weeks PTO prorated to start date One (1) week Sick time prorated to start date Bereavement leave Bonuses for exceptional performance Company car for project site travel and/or mileage reimbursement Why Cedarwood At a smaller firm, your work matters.
