Job Description

Junior Civil Engineer
  • Akron, USA We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Civil Engineer to join our team in Akron, USA.
As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, design, and construction of various civil engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience looking to gain hands-on experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation of engineering drawings and designs using AutoCAD or other software
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and assess project needs
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop project plans and strategies
  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to team members and clients
  • Ensure that all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
  • Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Microstation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous internship or co-op experience in civil engineering field
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Akron area
Salary:
$1000 per month (negotiable based on experience) This is a full-time position based in Akron, USA.
