ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Civil Project Engineer to join our Canton, OH Water Resources team. In this role, you will apply your engineering knowledge to help design residential and commercial water resources projects, working alongside a team of driven professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create technical drawings and plans for permitting and construction of water resource projects, including design, layout, grading, drainage, and erosion and sediment controls Provide technical support during construction activities, including reviewing plans Prepare cost estimates for water resource projects Develop engineering solutions for water resource challenges Complete environmental permits Collaborate with engineers to develop optimal designs for clients Coordinate with construction inspection personnel to ensure contracted work meets design intent Operate independently within a deadline-driven environment
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program required
Certification:
EI/EIT certification desired but not required
Experience:
0-4 years of related water/wastewater experience
Software:
Microsoft Office proficiency required; AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience a plus Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Communication:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Travel:
Periodic day travel required
