As a Structural Engineer at Forma Engineering, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from commercial and industrial buildings to residential structures. You will collaborate directly with clients to design safe and efficient structures that meet our clients' needs. Job Description We are looking for an experienced structural Professional Engineer (P.E.). You will be responsible for completing structural inspections and structural design on residential and commercial buildings. Our work includes inspections mostly in the central Ohio area. Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a variety of projects. Collaborate with owners, architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions and determine necessary repairs or improvements. Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate engineering solutions to clients. Stay up-to-date with industry codes, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance in all projects. Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and support staff. Ideal Traits

• Experience with residential and commercial structural engineering analysis, design, and inspection.
• Fascination and strong interest in building construction techniques and evaluation of existing buildings.
• Detail oriented. Job Requirements

• Must be able to go into crawl spaces and attics
• Must be able to climb ladders and feel comfortable going on roofs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
