As a Structural Engineer with JDI, you will play a key role in collaborating with various internal engineering teams and department managers, ensuring cohesive integration of structural designs and delivering high-quality project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform structural analysis of various building systems to ensure safety and compliance Coordinate structural design details with JDI's architectural and other internal engineering disciplines Visit job sites to gather field data for retrofit projects, ensuring accuracy and feasibility Work directly with clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded Produce CAD drawings of approved designs for bid and permitting processes Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Revit Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and communicate complex ideas Knowledge of load calculation and stress analysis, building codes and regulations, and structural mechanics Bachelor's degree in civil or a similar engineering curriculum with a structural emphasis is required Professional Registration (P.E.) is preferred
Salary Range:
