Senior Civil/Structural Engineer

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Civil/Structural Engineer position include: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (any U.S. state) required

• Lead the design of custom steel connections for building and infrastructure applications Minimum 7+ years of structural design engineering experience
• Independently develop new steel and concrete anchor connection designs from scratch Proven steel and steel connection design expertise
• Perform engineering calculations and validate designs for code compliance (IBC, ACI, AISC) Strong experience reviewing detailed shop and fabrication drawings
• Oversee drafters and ensure accuracy of structural documentation Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural engineering software
• Utilize finite element and concrete anchor software for custom bracket design Experience coordinating with subcontractors and fabricators
• Manage technical communication and alignment with manufacturing and installation teams Background in prefab manufacturing or GC design-side engineering (value engineering preferred)
• Support QA/QC efforts and collaborate directly with production teams Willingness to travel up to 10%
• Conduct occasional site visits across the

East Coast and Midwest Salary :

$105,000

• $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
