Our client is seeking a Civil Engineering Team Leader in the Oklahoma City metro area to provide leadership, oversee project delivery, and help grow the regional market through strong business development efforts. A Day in the Life As a key member of the civil engineering team, you will play an essential role in driving project success and supporting continued market expansion. Working alongside the Principal-in-Charge, you will lead project management and design efforts while directing staff workload, identifying staffing needs, and supporting the technical and professional development of the team.

Your ability to build relationships, collaborate with clients, and contribute to the pursuit of new opportunities makes you an ideal fit for this position. Each day may involve leading design efforts, reviewing engineering work, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring that client expectations are consistently met.

  • Lead civil engineering design and project management activities
  • Direct and coordinate staff workloads to ensure successful project delivery
  • Support the growth of the geographic market through business development
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Collaborate with project team members to pursue new work opportunities
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight of project designs
  • Recommend staffing needs and support team development
  • Champion high-quality service and client satisfaction across all project phasesQualifications
  • Professional Engineer licence
  • Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • At least eight years of progressive civil engineering experience
  • Proven ability to lead and manage profitable projects within scope and budget
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with clients and project teams
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and related civil engineering software
  • Experience with estimating and specification writing
