Job Description

Job Summary The Project Engineer will support Tulsa Construction by ensuring efficient project execution and maintaining strong financial oversight. This role will support cost control and financial analysis to ensure the financial health of each project. This position requires an organized, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and project coordination skills. Responsibilities Track and analyze job costs, including materials, labor, trucking, and subcontractor expenses, comparing actual expenses to budgeted costs. Identify potential cost overruns and work with Project and Division leadership to implement corrective actions to maintain budget integrity. Collect, organize, and finalize project close-out documents, ensuring that all financial and contractual obligations have been met. Attend construction meetings to understand project requirements and any financial implications. Submit and track Accounts Receivable (AR) deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate billing to clients. Verify crew timesheets and project coding to ensure accurate labor cost tracking, ensuring proper allocation to projects for payroll and financial reporting purposes. Qualifications Previous experience in the paving and/or construction field preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills for financial analysis) and Adobe Professional. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, especially in managing and analyzing financial data. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills for both internal teams and external stakeholders. Ability to represent the company professionally and positively. Ability to meet all safety requirements while on a job site, wearing PPE including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses and high visibility vest. Must be able to work as a team player with a diverse group of people. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS project or similar platform. Ability to use a smart device. Prior experience with project management is required. Must have a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting 50+ lbs., walking, and standing during most of the day, exposure to outdoor elements daily.

Pay:
From $60,000.00 per year
