This is a senior-level position that blends technical design expertise with project leadership and client management responsibilities. You will work across a variety of structural systems - steel, concrete, wood, and masonry - and bring hands-on experience with existing building evaluations, renovation projects, and seismic upgrades.

In addition to delivering high-quality engineering, you will play a meaningful role in mentoring early-career engineers and nurturing the long-term client relationships that underpin the firm's continued growth in the region.

Key responsibilitiesLead structural engineering projects through all phases, from early planning through final construction closeoutCollaborate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other design disciplines to develop integrated structural solutionsDirect and coordinate the production of engineering calculations, analyses, and construction documentsSupport business development through proposal writing, scope definition, fee preparation, and contract documentationForecast workflow and manage project schedules across the engineering teamMentor junior engineers and BIM designers through design development and documentation phasesConduct and oversee site visits, construction observations, and progress reportingReview shop drawings and submittals and provide timely engineering responses during constructionMaintain ongoing communication with clients and build strong, lasting professional relationshipsRequirementsBachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited programmeMaster's degree in structural engineering preferredActive Professional Engineering (PE) licence requiredStructural Engineering (SE) licence strongly preferred4+ years of relevant structural design experience in buildingsProficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA (or equivalent) and BIM tools including RevitStrong knowledge of load calculations, structural analysis methods, and applicable building codesPrior experience in a project engineer or project management capacity is desirableExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present to clients and project teams
