Structural Engineer Description Position Description We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our collaborative team and play a key role in delivering thoughtful, integrated design solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, applying expertise in multiple structural systems while contributing to all phases of design and construction. Youll collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure high-quality, efficient, and innovative outcomes for our clients. Position Salary Range• The expected salary range for this position is $83,000 to $97,000 annually. Required Qualifications•Bachelors Degree in Engineering from ABET accredited four-year University 5+ years of job-related experience Licensed Professional Engineer (or ability to obtain by comity) in the state of the hiring Cushing Terrell office Advanced knowledge of Auto CADD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook Advanced understanding of Structural Systems and Design Process High level of collaboration and communication Ability to effectively manage time Did you know that some people hold back on applying to jobs if they dont meet 100% of the listed requirements? Position Responsibilities•Competency with engineering in wood design, timber design, steel design, concrete design, masonry design and structural detailing to match Oversee/Manage all Structural Engineering aspects of projects Work independently and oversee other team members to develop Construction Documents (Plans and Specifications) Perform structural engineering analysis and development of design calculations Prepare engineering studies and reports Prepare construction cost estimates and compare with industry benchmarks Manage structural specific project requirements (Scope, Budget, and Time) Develop structural related fee proposals and contracts Develop and maintain client relationships Mentor and direct junior engineers and BIM staff Working at Cushing Terrell Cushing Terrell is a multidisciplinary design firm with 17 offices an Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
