We are looking for a dedicated and relationship-driven Civil Project Engineer to join our natural gas team in Vancouver, WA. In this role, your technical expertise and leadership will directly shape meaningful natural gas and infrastructure projects in the PNW and beyond. We're looking for someone with strong client relations skills, leadership qualities, a can-do attitude, and a drive to execute projects that positively impact the communities we serve.   • but we're serious about fun, too If that sounds good to you, let's talk Key responsibilities: Lead the design and technical delivery of natural gas and municipal projects.
Communicate with clients regarding current projects and collaborate with project managers and our business development team to identify and position the firm to successfully win future work. Provide direction and support to technical staff and EITs. Support project managers in preparing and managing project scope, budget, and schedule, and prepare deliverables. Build and maintain strong client relationships alongside business development teams.
Qualifications:
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the states of Washington and/or Oregon, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. 3
  • 5 years of design experience in transportation, gas pipeline, roadway, energy, or utilities.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Experience coordinating with EITs and design technicians, serving as the subject matter expert. Demonstrated ability to support projects from including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, design coordination, construction support, and project delivery within municipal and/or gas projects. Salaries are based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations. Full-time employees receive a well-rounded benefit package including access to our company-sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans.
