Job Description
Structural Engineer (2-10+ Years Experience)
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform structural analysis and design for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
Prepare construction documents, including drawings, calculations, and specifications.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal engineering staff throughout all project phases.
Conduct site visits, assessments, and inspections as needed.
Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client expectations.
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred but not required).2-8 years of structural engineering experience in building design.
Experience with wood, steel, concrete, and/or masonry design.
Proficiency with structural engineering software (e.g., RISA, SAP2000, RAM, ETABS, or similar).E.I.T. certification required; P.E. preferred or in progress.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or within a team environment.
Preferred ExperiencePrior work in commercial, industrial, and/or residential structural design.
Familiarity with local building codes in Oregon or Arizona.
Experience preparing permit packages and coordinating with local jurisdictions.
